FAQs

While we appreciate each child’s individual needs our aim is to encourage children to gain independence. You are welcome to book a trial session where an adult is able to stay for a while and support them settling in.

Yes, please provide your child with a cold packed lunch and a water bottle. We have tea, hot chocolate, cordials and water always available. While we recognise many children have challenges with food, to respect the ethos of the farm we urge you to explore the many varieties of a vegan or vegetarian diet.

Please get in touch and discuss this with us directly

Please always keep in mind The Hub is located on an animal sanctuary on on Oxfordshire Hillside. Sturdy, sensible shoes are always recommended, and keep in mind it is always a few degrees colder at the farm, layers are a must.

We do not accept responsibility for any personal belongings brought to the sessions. Please do not allow any expensive electronic devices or phones.

We often allow time for tabletop games and other socialising time, in the past children have brought in games or small toys to share at their own risk.

Special Events

In the past the Hub has organised a Christmas Market, a car boot, volunteer days and special talks on interesting subjects. We are open to requests of other special events in the future!

Absolutely! This is the core of Community spirit, the Hubbers are encouraged to come along and help at all the special events. We would also love to hear from Parents with a special skill and would like to come and help facilitate a session. Please get in touch
